HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad traffic police on Monday counselled minors who were caught driving vehicles, and their parents at the Goshamahal Traffic Training Institute. A total of 500 people, minors and their guardians, attended.
They were made aware that minors driving vehicles was a traffic rule violation. Minors below 18 can drive with a driving licence, police officials said. Those under 16 can drive 50cc vehicles with a driving licence. Minors can learn driving skills at the traffic training institutes at Begumpet and Goshamahal. Traffic DCP, Hyderabad, A.V.
