Vijayawada: Child rights activists start sticker campaign
Last week too, the CWC had undertaken the sticker campaign and pasted stickers on automobiles in Guntur district.
Vijayawada: As a part of the campaign against child sexual abuse, Child Welfare Committee, Krishna district has taken up a sticker campaign with the slogan: “Stop child sexual abuse”.
The campaign was launched at the Vijayawada Railway station on Wednesday.
CWC has prepared 10,000 PVC stickers and is pasting them on autos and four-wheelers in all mandals apart from rural areas in the district with the cooperation of Childline and police.
Speaking on the occasion, CWC Krishna district chairman B.V.S. Kumar stressed on the need for sensitising the men on the stringent punishments as per Pocso Act, 2012 and reminded that very recently.
Last week too, the CWC had undertaken the sticker campaign and pasted stickers on automobiles in Guntur district. The campaigns have been very well received across the two districts.
