AP deputy CM wants land issues resolved in Banaganapalle
Kurnool: AP Deputy Chief Minister Sk. Amzath Basha on Tuesday called upon district authorities to resolve all issues related to mutation of lands in Banaganapalle constituency, except for matters related to family disputes and those pending in courts.
Reviewing in Nandyal a meeting of key departments including housing, panchayat raj, rural water supply, roads and buildings, revenue, agriculture, employment guarantee, healthcare, education, and women welfare, he asked authorities to prioritise applications for mutations received during the Jagananna Suraksha program.
Amzath Basha directed officials of APSPDCL to provide electricity connections for borewells completed under the YSR Jalayagnam initiative. He underlined that housing projects must be completed within the stipulated timeframe, while considering the suggestions made by local MLAs.
At the meeting, zilla parishad chairman Y. Papireddy emphasised on the need to grant house sites in Owk, Kolimigundla and Banaganapalle constituencies. He wanted pattas issued for 15,000 house sites.
The ZP chief requested the deputy CM to initiate action for constructing a multi-purpose reservoir for storing 25 TMC of water in Kolimigundla mandal.
District collector Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon said all matters raised during the review meeting will be meticulously examined and appropriate action taken to resolve them.
Banaganapalle legislator Katasani Ramireddy, Nandyala and Dhone RDOs, district-level officials from various departments, tahsildars and MPDOs were among those who participated in the meeting.
