Hyderabad: Class IX student stages protest
The school authorities said that the boy has not paid fees for this academic year though two months have already completed.
Hyderabad: Boinapally Praveen, a ninth standard student, staged a protest outside the classroom at Sri Chaitanya School, Ramanthapur. He claimed that he was denied admission by the school authorities despite paying the fees. The school authorities, however, denied the allegations.
A relative of the boy said, “We paid Rs 50,000 last year as fees and he has misplaced the receipt.” The school authorities said that the boy has not paid fees for this academic year though two months have already completed. The principal of the school stated that the boy was denied admission not only for non-payment of fees but also for skipping classes and exams.
Several child rights organisations have asked the police to register a complaint against the school management.
