New Delhi: Amid intense speculation on India’s response to the Uri terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the chiefs of the Army and the Air Force along with the Vice-Chief of the Navy.

Defence sources, however, told news agencies that the meeting was “routine”. Navy Chief Admiral Sunil Lanba is reportedly out of town. The Army Chief has met the Prime Minister and top PMO officials a number of times after the attack last Sunday in which 18 soldiers were killed.
