New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday refused urgent mentioning of the petition filed by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Chandrababu Naidu seeking to quash the FIR filed by the Andhra Pradesh CID in connection with the skill development scam case and also challenging his remand in the case.

Chief Justice DY Chandrachud refused out-of-turn menrioning for Naidu's petition and asked his lawyer Siddharth Luthra to mention the matter tomorrow.

The ACB Court in Vijayawada extended the judicial remand of former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development scam case till October 5, following the expiry of his two-day CID custody on Sunday, September 24.

Naidu, who is currently lodged in the Rajahmundry Central Jail, was produced before the ACB Court judge B.S.V. Himabindu in a video-conference mode shortly after the CID custody came to an end.

Naidu was arrested earlier this month and has been under judicial custody since then in connection with skill development multi-crore scam case.
