Thiruvananthapuram: The city corporation settled 61 of 94 applications regarding files on which action has been delayed at a town planning adalat held on Wednesday. Four applications were rejected.

Most of the applications were related to houses which were yet to get building numbers.

There were 17 for sanctioning building permits and 34 for TC numbers, while 10 applications wanted UA numbers.

Four applications were kept aside for clarity. Five applications were sent to chief town planner's office, archaeology department and local-level management committee for their reports. Four await government regularisation.

Though the corporation had decided to conduct adalat every week, it had come to a complete standstill. It restarted the adalat recently, but the frequency is reduced to once a month.
