Hyderabad High Court specifies dates when TJAC cannot hold meet
The police refused permission for the meet in view of the ensuing Global Entrepreneurship Summit till November 30.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Friday directed the Rachakonda police to grant permission to the Telangana Joint Action Committee to conduct its public meeting in Saroornagar stadium on any date as sought by the petitioner except November 30, December 1 and 6. Justice S.V. Bhatt while granting interim suspension of the rejection order passed by the LB Nagar deputy police commissioner of the Rachakonda police commissionerate directed the police to grant permission within 48 hours from the date of receiving the application.
The TJAC had moved the plea challenging action of the the LB Nagar DCP refusing to permission for the Koluvulakai Kotlata (Fight for Jobs) public meeting in the city on November 30. The police refused permission for the meet in view of the ensuing Global Entrepreneurship Summit till November 30 and Babri Masjid demolition anniversary on December 6.
