DY CM KE Krishna Murthy vows to develop Kurnool city
The deputy CM said the government was committed to doing this smart city and would incur crores of rupees including Central funds.
KURNOOL: Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishna Murthy on Saturday assured that Kurnool city would be developed as a beautiful and model zone after laying the foundation stone for construction of a community hall at Arora Nagar and CC roads at Swamireddy Nagar in the city.
Rajya Sabha MP T.G. Venkatesh, KUDA chairman Somisetty Venkateswarlu, MLA S.V. Mohan Reddy, KMC commissioner C.B. Harinath Reddy and others were present. Addressing the gathering, the deputy CM said the government was committed to doing this smart city and would incur crores of rupees including Central funds.
Kurnool city would turn model area for others, he said, adding that the KMC has been planning to facilitate walking tracks, open gyms, yoga spots at all municipal parks in the city limits. These developmental works will be useful for citizens to change their tense mindset and to change them into healthier beings, he stated. He called upon the citizens to utilise the municipal services.
