Warangal: From November 25 voter slips to be given

WARANGAL: Booth level officers would be distributing photo voter slips to residents in Warangal from November 25 to December 1. District collector and election officer Prashanth J. Patil and Joint collector S. Dayanand released the voter slips on Saturday. 

Mr Patil said there are 6,76,048 voters in Warangal Urban district and all will receive the voters slips.

“The voter slips would have information including name of the voter, constituency, photo ID card number, name of the polling station, polling date and time in Telugu and English languages.

The toll free number to contact the district election officer is also printed on the slip”. 

“On the back side of the slip, the geo-map of the polling station from the residence of the voter is printed along with the facilities provided to women, elderly and persons with special needs,” he said.

Out of the total 6,76,048 voters in Warangal Urban district, 3,37,119 are male, 3,37,745 are female and 184 belong to the transgender. Among these, there are 8,118 persons with disabilities and 234 are service voters.
