Bhavani Deekshas continue at Durga Temple on second day
EO K.S. Rama Rao Ensures Smooth Bhavani Deeksha Arrangements Amidst Devotee Rush at Durga Temple
Vijayawada: Devotees continued to take Bhavani Deeksha on Friday at the Sri Durgamalleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri in large numbers on the second day.
Temple executive officer (EO) K.S. Rama Rao supervised the arrangements for deekshas, so that devotees do not face any inconvenience despite the rush of devotees.
Lakshakumkumarchana, Sri Chakra Navavarana Archana, Chandi Homa, Shantikalyana and other services were offered.
The EO said during the Karthika Masam from November 14 to December 12, Durga temple will offer special puja services every day from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Sahasra Lingarchana Seva will be priced ₹500 per day and ₹5,116 per month. He said seva tickets can be obtained from the Devasthanams website www.kanakadurgamma.org, www.aptemples.ap.gov.in or from the Devasthanam counter.
