Mayawati depicted as goddess Kali in posters

Lucknow: Posters have ruffled too many feathers once again in Uttar Pradesh. In Hathras, posters of Ms Mayawati as Goddess Kali — holding the severed head of union HRD minister Smriti Irani in one hand and trampling over the head of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat with her feet —  appeared in Sadabad locality on Sunday night when a ‘Shobha Yatra’ on Dr B.R. Ambedkar was being taken out.

The posters, later on Sunday night, went viral on the social media and the local police officers immediately swung into action and removed the posters. None of the BSP leaders in Lucknow were willing to comment on this.
