H D Kumaraswamy to spend run up to election in Bengaluru
Being a great orator, Kumaranna is expected to woo urban voters.\"
Bengaluru: JD(S) leaders are cashing on the former chief minister Mr H D Kumaraswamy, who according to them, will be camping in the city a few days before elections and hopefully turn things in their favour.
Speaking to DC, Mr Bagegowda, JD(S) candidate who will be contesting from Basavanagudi said, “Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda has already campaigned in some of the areas of the city.
Our chief ministerial candidate H.D. Kumaraswamy is busy touring state. Once he is done with that, he shall campaign for us in the city as well.”
A JDS party worker said "In constituencies like Chamrajpet, it has become an issue of self-respect. Deve Gowda is keen to get the victory for his candidate Mr Altaf Khan and beat Mr Zameer who jumped to Congress. Being a great orator, Kumaranna is expected to woo urban voters."
The last leg of Kumaraswamy’s campaign will be in the city. This time seats have been allocated to persons who can make an impact, the party worker said and added that "Kumaranna's campaign will be a boost which shall change the mood of the voter in the last minute and work in favour of the JDS candidates."
