RSS sure of Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta
Its state secretary or Prantha Karyavahak P. Gopalan Kutty Master said are not ruling out chances in Thrissur as well.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A day after the BJP's stocktaking on the possibilities in Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta, RSS leadership met in Kochi on Thursday and exuded the confidence of winning both.
Its state secretary or Prantha Karyavahak P. Gopalan Kutty Master said are not ruling out chances in Thrissur as well.
A former state president said chances of Kummanam Rajasekharan would get bleak if minority communities swing towards a particular candidate.
They are also hopeful on K. Surendran in Pathanamthitta. Like its rivals, BJP also believes high turnout will come to their advantage.
"Our polling agents have assured us that all the BJP votes have been polled," he told DC.
"There was large scale turnout of women voters across the state, especially in Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta."
Meanwhile, the Master maintained that it was a meeting of all the RSS co-ordinators belonging to 20 Lok Sabha seats to get their feedback.
"I still stand by what I had said earlier. We have cent per cent hope in winning the Thiruvananthapuram and 98 -99 per cent in Pathanamthitta," he told DC.
"At the same time, Suresh Gopi will be getting individual votes which will keep him in good stead in Thrissur."he said.
