Telangana: Stay on building walkway at Malkam lake

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Thursday stayed the construction of a walkway at Malkam cheruvu in Raidurg, Serilingampally, till further orders.

Vacation judge Justice A. Rajashekher Reddy was dealing with a petition filed by one E. Sudhakar stating that dumping debris into the lake and constructing a walkway in the name of beautification was illegal. 

The judge issued notices to the GHMC and the HMWS&SB.
