HC adjourned the hearing in Avinash Reddy's anticipatory bail plea to tomorrow
Hyderabad: A vacation bench of the Telangana High Court adjourned the hearing in the anticipatory bail petition of Kadapa YSRC MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy in the Y.S. Vivekananda murder case to May 26.
Following the instructions of the Supreme Court , Avinash Reddy’s plea for anticipatory bail was listed on Thursday before the vacation bench headed by Justice M. Laxman as the last item at Serial No. 77 before the judge.
The case came up for hearing at 6.15 pm and the judge asked counsel for Avinash Reddy and Dr Suneetha Narreddy and the CBI how much time they needed. CBI counsel said that he wanted more than one hour and Avinash Reddy's counsel Umamaheshwar Rao also submitted that he wanted more time. L. Ravichander, senior counsel, appearing for Dr Suneetha Narreddy, said he may not take much time.
As already the court was working beyond schedule, Justice Laxman decided to hear the case on Friday at 10.30 am and told counsels to complete the arguments on Friday.
