K Chandrasekhar Rao expects more leaders to join TRS
Recently, Congress MLC K. Damodar Reddy also left the Congress for the TRS.
Hyderabad: TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao reportedly wants to go in for early elections to cash in on the disarray in the Congress.
Recently, Congress MLC K. Damodar Reddy also left the Congress for the TRS.
At the same time, voices in the Congress are demanding justice for Backward Classes leaders. Mr Nagender, after he resigned, alleged that the BCs and weaker sections had no place in the Congress. AICC secretary and former MP V. Hanumantha Rao has endorsed his comments.
Mr Rao also wants to take the advantage of the dissatisfaction of BCs and leaders of the weaker sections in the Congress. He is of the opinion that the Congress leaders from the districts may join the TRS following his statement on early elections.
A senior Congress leader commented that while party leaders were busy quarrelling, Mr Rao had “thrown a bomb” in the form of early elections.
