BENGALURU: In a populist initiative, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Saturday announced that the government would soon launch mobile banking for the benefit of micro business entrepreneurs and end the menace of money lenders.

While participating in a function organised by Samaja Samparka Vedike here, Mr Kumaraswamy said that through these mobile banks the government would dispense money up to Rs 1000 to people like push cart vendors. These micro business entrepreneurs need to return the money by evening,  “The government will not charge any interest.
