Governor Vajubhai Vala takes a tumble, operated upon
Mr Vala reportedly fractured his fingers during his morning walk on the premises of Raj Bhavan early in the morning.

BENGALURU: The 83-year-old Governor Vajubhai Vala underwent an operation on his left ring finger and little finger at M.S. Ramaiah Hospital on Saturday morning. Mr Vala reportedly fractured his fingers during his morning walk on the premises of Raj Bhavan early in the morning.
Hospital sources told Deccan Chronicle that the governor was brought in to the hospital at 6.12 am. A team of doctors, led by Dr Darshan Kumar Jain, conducted the “K wiring” procedure on Mr Vala’s fingers. The sources said that Mr Vala was stable and was discharged around midnight.
