Chennai: The state CPM has demanded the government to revoke the transfer of Udayachandran, who was secretary (curriculam-school education) here on Saturday.
In a statement, K. Balakrishnan, state secretary, CPM, said that Udayachandran was playing main role in the field of education.
“He changed the curriculam and he created an environment for Neet coaching centres in the state,” he said and added that the government should revoke his transfer order till he finishes the curriculam in the textbook.
“He should again be posted in the same category and the government should not consider transferring such officers,” Balakrishnan pointed out.
