Centre issues flood alert in Telangana and AP as more rains expected
Five flood rescue teams comprising 158 rescuers and 16 boats have been deployed at flood prone areas in the state.

Hyderabad: The death toll rises rose to eight in Medak district on Sunday even as five NDRF teams were deployed at the district and Nizamabad.
The Central water resources ministry has issued a flood alert to districts in the Krishna and Godavari basins in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka. While three persons were killed on Friday, four more were killed on Saturday.
