Hyderabad Public School makes to top 10 best schools
Over 1,000 of the country's best schools have been scored and ranked based on these criteria.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad Public School (HPS), Begumpet, has ranked ninth for the third year running in the list of top 10 schools in India as per the 11th Annual Education World India School Rankings, 2017. The school scored 1,185 out of 1,500 points based on 14 parameters including teacher welfare, sports education, quality of management, parental involvement, infrastructure, value for money, and community service. Over 1,000 of the country’s best schools have been scored and ranked based on these criteria.
HPS, Begumpet, Principal Latha Shankar said, “We hope to keep improving our scores. We have scored well on ‘individual attention given to students’, which is what we always aim for.”
Srinidhi International School, Hyderabad, was ranked second in the state with a score of 1,117. Delhi Public School, Nacharam, third with 1,079. The survey was conducted by Education World which publishes news from the education sector, and the Centre for Forecasting and Research.
