Tamil Nadu: 5 Lakh farmers to march to Parliament on November 20

Chennai: More than 5 lakh farmers from across the country will converge in New Delhi on November 20 to protest against the Union Government’s “anti-farmers” policy. Farmers’ leader Ayyakannu told reporters on Wednesday that farmers will march towards Parliament in New Delhi demanding special package for farmers and nationalisation of rivers. Ayyakannu said farmers, not just from Tamil Nadu, but from across the country, will participate in the protest and corner the BJP-led NDA Government.
