Students of India look at PM Modi as guardian: Piyush Goyal
NEW DELHI: Students of the country look at Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a guardian, Union minister Piyush Goyal said while attending a 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' event at Navyug School in the Sarojini Nagar area here on Friday.
Union minister Jitendra Singh also attended the programme at a school in the Rohini area of the city.
The prime minister, interacting with students at Talkatora stadium here, in his annual 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' programme, advised them never to take a shortcut.
Besides Goyal and Singh, senior BJP leaders, including the party's OBC wing chief K Laxman and Delhi unit working president Virendra Sachdeva interacted with the students at different schools.
At Navyug School, Goyal joined the students and addressed them.
"Students of the country look towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a guardian who is helping them inculcate high ideals and strength to fight odds in life," he said.
Union minister Jitendra Singh interacted with the students of Mount Abu School in Rohini and provided them tips to prepare for examinations.
"The guidance of the prime minister should be put to use at the time of examination," he said and added that the parents and teachers should also understand the thinking and orientation of students.
Sachdeva wished students well for upcoming examinations asking them to focus on time management.
The national president of the BJP's OBC Morcha was present among the students of Universal Public School, Preet Vihar, during the 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' programme.
