Abdu Rabb promises hassle-free SSLC exams
The SSLC examinations will be held from March 9 to 28.
Thiruvananthapuram: The government has taken steps to ensure error-free SSLC results this time following the faux pas that happened last year, according to Education Minister P.K. Abdu Rabb.
The SSLC examinations will be held from March 9 to 28. The software has already been tested by entering the marks of the model examinations and those entering marks at valuation camps have been given training.
Online monitoring will be introduced in all SSLC valuation camps and master trainers will be appointed to provide IT assistance to teachers, Mr Rabb said.
Last year, the results had to be republished as there were many errors in the first published results. As many as 4, 76,373 students would appear in the new scheme. They include 4, 74,267 regular students and 2,106 private. There are 2,33,034 girl students.
Malappuram tops in the number of students with 83,315 and Pathanamthitta is at the bottom with 12,451. Malayalam medium students number 3,20,854, English 1,48,115, Kannada 3,135 and Tamil 2,163. As many as 484 students have also registered in the old scheme.
