Telangana Junior Doctor's Association fumes as only seven docs are selected
There are more than 200 posts for which applications were invited.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Junior Doctor’s Association (TJDA) are angry that only seven doctors from Telangana have been selected for the post of assistant professors, while the others are all non-locals. There are more than 200 posts for which applications were invited.
Dr G. Srinivas, advisor for TJUDA said, “There are only seven locals while all others in the various categories are non-locals. This is not right. We want the government to look into this and give priority to the locals.” There were applications invited for 20 super speciality departments and in each department three to four doctors have been selected.
But TJUDA has alleged that maximum of them who have been selected for interview are not locals and that denies them the opportunity.
