Erode: Several kids among 28 injured in Gobi bus capsize

Erode: At least 28 passengers including several school children were injured when a state-owned TNSTC transport bus flipped over and fell by the roadside near Karupannagoundanpudur village near Gobichettipalayam in Erode district on Tuesday.
Police said the driver of the bus Saravanan, 47, apparently lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve leading to the mishap that caused injures to 28 persons including school children.
The bus was proceeding from Gobi to Athani and a good number of the 40-odd passengers travelling by the bus then were all children going to school during morning peak hour travel.

Of them, eight of the seriously injured were sent to Erode government hospital for further treatment.
