T20 match: BMRCL to extend services
For swift crowd clearance, BMRCL will be issuing paper tickets from 3 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday at all the metro stations.
Bengaluru: As the city his hosting a T20 cricket match between India and Australia on Wednesday, BMRCL has extended its services by half an hour.
The last train from the terminus stations - Baiyappanahalli, Mysore Road, Yelachenahalli and Nagasandra would depart at 11.30 pm and the last train from Kempegowda station, Majestic towards all the four directions shall depart at 11.55 pm.
For swift crowd clearance, BMRCL will be issuing paper tickets from 3 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday at all the metro stations. From 10 pm onwards, metro fares from Cubbon Park station to any metro station shall be Rs 50.
The return journey from Cubbon Park metro station to any metro station shall be by means of paper tickets only. However, the onward journey from any station to Cubbon park station shall be means of tokens and smart cards at normal fares.
For the journey by smart cards, normal discounted rates will be applicable, BMRCL officials said.
