VIJAYAWADA: The Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has stated that phase-wise agitation would be taken up along with Left parties, in order to achieve the bifurcation assurances and also special category status. Sharing the details of the combined meeting of Jana Sena and Left parties held on Monday, he gave the road map of the agitation. It will start from Rayalaseema, and culminate in North Coastal Andhra.

Pawan Kalyan criticised BJP and YSRC for not putting in enough efforts. Jana Sena president  met with leaders of CPI and CPM in  the Jana Sena party office on Monday and the details were revealed to media. “AP people lost so much because of TD’s compromising nature, and YSRC’s response has been minimal in this matter,” he observed.

Stating that the capital city Amaravati is not being developed as an  inclusive capital, Pawan Kalyan alleged that it is being developed as a subsidiary city to Telugu Desam party. Responding to BJP president Amit Shah’s letter, he felt that response is required when letter is addressed by the Union government. The letter was not written by Union government’s representative or Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), he observed.

CPM state committee secretary P. Madhu said that no package was given for Uttarandhra and Rayalaseema as promised in the Act. TD and BJP are indulging in dramatic tactics. To achieve special category status and the implementation of promises made during bifurcation Jana Sena, CPI and CPM have decided to fight together on a large scale, Mr Madhu observed.
