Khammam: Voters number up in all segments except Wyra
In Wyra Assembly segment, around 48 voters were found less when compared to the draft list.
Khammam: Except in Wyra Assembly segment, number of voters have increased in all segments within the limits of Khammam Lok Sabha constituency when compared to the voters’ draft list of February 22, 2019.
The total increase of voters in all seven segments is 8,216 and total voters in Khammam constituency is 15,13,094, including 7,73,503 women voters. There are more women than male voters in the constituency.
In Wyra Assembly segment, around 48 voters were found less when compared to the draft list. There are 1,83,286 voters, including 93,001 female voters in Wyra constituency.
In Khammam, there are 2,93,600 lakh voters, including 1,51,896 female voters. There are 32 transgender voters in Khammam.
In Palair, there are 2,1622 voters, including 1,10,885 women voters and a transgender voter. Aswaraopet stood as the smallest segment related to voters. There are only 1,50,205 voters, including 76,736 female voters and two transgender voters.
In Kothagudem, there are 1,17,142 women voters and 1,11,440 male voters. There are no transgender voters in Sattupalli and it had 2,30,426 votes in the segment, including 1,16,501 female voters.
The difference between draft voters’ list and final list in Madhira is 1,108 votes. There are 2,10,358 votes in Madhira, including 1,03,009 male voters.
As far as polling stations are concerned, more will be in Khammam with 324 segments in 101 locations. A total of 1,801 polling stations in Khammam LS constituency are in 950 locations. The polling stations in Aswaraopet are 183 in 123 locations, 253 in Kothagudem in 135 locations, 280 in Sattupalli in 144 locations, 232 in Wyra in 144 locations, 255 polling stations in Madhira in 135 locations and 274 in Palair segment in 168 locations.
