YSRC claims Andhra Pradesh cops tapped their phones
The YSRC has accused four officers of the AP police of illegal tapping.
Hyderabad: YSRC leaders have filed a complaint with the Election Commission alleging that illegal surveillance and interception of their telephones is being conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Police.
Former Lok Sabha member Y.V Subha Rao said in reference to information on two party leaders: “I have been informed by a very credible source that specific details pertaining to requisition of permission were given to facilitate illegal surveillance on the telephones of Mr Talasila Raghuram and Mr Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, and that their numbers are now placed under electronic surveillance.”
The YSRC has accused four officers of the AP police of illegal tapping: principal secretary (home) Anuradha, DGP R.P. Thakur, DGP (Intelligence) B. Venkateshwara Rao and SP (Counter Intelligence) Bhaskar Bhushan.
