Nara Lokesh to set stone for TD regional office today
The party regional office will come up in of 2,000 sq yards.
Visakhapatnam: TD national general secretary and party heir apparent, Nara Lokesh will be visiting Vizag on Wednesday to lay foundation stone for the party’s regional office at Ramnagar. The party regional office will come up in of 2,000 sq yards. The party workers have plans to lead a rally from the airport to welcome Mr Lokesh. The new party office will come up to cater to the needs of the cadre of all the three districts in north Andhra. The swanky, fully air-conditioned two-floored office building is said to be coming up at a cost of '6 crore on the site allotted by the then district collector on lease for 25 years in 2002. An old office building has been demolished to pave a way for the new one.
A meeting hall where training sessions for party workers can be held is being planned on one of the floors. conducted is also being planned in one of the floors. “All our party workers are excited and upbeat over our leader and youth icon Lokesh’s visit. We have planned a rally from the airport to welcome him,” said Vizag south MLA and party city president, Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar. Lokesh will also address the party meeting and interact with the TDP activists after laying the foundation stone.
