Madras High Court allows Khushbu to visit France, Spain
Andipatti police had foisted false case against her and a few other involved in the election campaign under sections 143, 341, 188 of IPC.
Madurai: The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Wednesday granted permission for Tamil Nadu Congress spokesperson and actress Khushbu to visit France and Spain along with her family members for a vacation. The actress had filed a petition seeking permission following the mandate issued by the court in its earlier order passed while directing the passport authority to renew her passport. In that order the court had made it clear that before departing India for the first time she should necessarily get permission because quash petitions filed by her were pending in the court.
Earlier when Khushbu was attached to the DMK, she campaigned for the party during 2011 assembly election in Theni and Dindigul districts. In this connection, Andipatti police had foisted a false case against her and a few other involved in the election campaign under sections 143, 341, 188 of IPC, she said in the petition. The police had also filed final report before the District Munisf court cum judicial magistrate court in Andipatti.
