ACB sleuths inspect offices of sub-registrar and tahsildar

Vijayawada: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths conducted surprise checks on several sub-registrar offices and also on tahsildar offices across the state on Wednesday.

Based on complaints received at ACB toll-free number 14400 and also on the ACB 14400 app on charges of corruption, teams of officials from ACB inspected the sub-registrar offices at Badvel in Kadapa district, Tirupati rural of Tirupati district, Anantapur rural of Anantapur district, Jagadamba of Visakhapatnam district, Tuni of Kakinada district, Narasapuram of Eluru district, Kandukur of Nellore district and on tahsildar offices at Medikonduru of Guntur district and Jalumuru of Srikakulam district.

The findings of the inspections at the offices of the sub-registrar and tahsildar were yet to be released when the last reports came in.
