Shias express displeasure at Telangana policy

Hyderabad: In their procession at Charminar, the All India Shia community expressed displeasure at the manner in which Telangana government refused to heed their request to postpone the Iftar party on June 26.

The community is very angry. Mr Mir Hadi Ali, president of the All India Shia Organisation explained, “The community finds itself sidelined. The fault lies with the minority welfare department who failed to understand the community and went ahead with the iftar party.”
