Gauri Lankesh murder case: 11th accused arrested
Suresh was earlier taken in as witness in the sensational murder case.
Bengaluru: The SIT on Wednesday arrested Suresh H.L. from Tumakuru, the 11th accused in the Gauri Lankesh murder case.
Suresh had allegedly rented his house at Seegehalli on Magadi Road to Gauri’s alleged killers – Parshuram Waghmore and Amol Kale. Kumar was produced before the Third ACMM court on Thursday and remanded in police custody.
The SIT had earlier interrogated Suresh, who had reportedly revealed to the police that he had rented his house to the two men after he was contacted by Kale through a common friend – Praveen alias Sujeet Kumar.
He had sublet the house to them after he moved his family away. While Kale reportedly shifted to the Seegehalli house, Waghmore and Praveen took up another place, which was reportedly closer to Gauri’s house in Rajarajeshwarinagar. Suresh was earlier taken in as witness in the sensational murder case.
