Heavy Rain Alert for Hyderabad, GHMC Says Don t Step Out of House

HYDERABAD: Greater Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (GHMC) on Thursday put the residents of Hyderabad on high alert over heavy rains and asked them not to step out of house till afternoon.

"Heavy rains expected for the next three hours all over Hyderabad. Please don't step out of homes unless very essential. Some low lying areas may get waterlogging. Avoid electrical poles. Please dial 040-21111111 and 9000113667 for GHMC-DRF assistance," GHMC said in a statement.
