Hyderabad: One killed in diesel loco shed fire

Hyderabad: A 51-year-old SCR technician died in a fire at the Diesel Loco Shed on the premises of the senior divisional mechanical engineer’s office at Moulali on Wednesday.

The deceased, P. Srinivasulu, hails from Vijayawada. The incident took place while he was welding a locomotive. As the unit had stored diesel, the sparks from the welding machine hit diesel tins and they caught fire. Srinivasulu suffered 75 per cent burns.
