Andhra Padesh: Corporate schools give no time to relax
Students from many private schools have been facing a tough time work-wise.
TIRUPATI: Students from many private schools have been facing a tough time work-wise. For some of them, Diwali was the only holiday over the last four weeks. Classes are held on Sundays regularly as is done on a weekday.
While some parents objected to this, there are others requesting the schools to hold some more additional classes to help their wards score high marks in exams. While this has been happening in most of the private schools in the state, officials have failed to initiate any action against these corporate schools.
P. Harish Reddy, father of a student from Sri Chaitanya School, Kavali of Nellore district, said, “My son goes to school by 7:30 in the morning and returns at 8 in the evening spending more than 12 hours in the school. If the management is questioned there will no response. They don't know how to handle the students.”
