Holiday Expo-2018 evokes good response in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: Holiday Expo-2018 ( a three-day travel and trade exhibition providing B2B and B2C visitors an inroad to striking new destinations) was opened at Vizag Convention, near the Cricket Stadium at PM Palem in Vizag city, on Friday and it has been drawing a good number of prospective tourists.
State Tourism Boards of Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kerala, Maharashtra and few other states have opened their stalls and the expo was inaugurated by chairman of Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Regional Development Authority P. Basanth Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Basanth Kumar said that the expo will be much useful to the Vizagites who wish to travel to various places in the country as one can get all the details here.
“The expo provides a platform to tourists to interact with representatives of State Tourism Boards, apart from tour operators, and know about the packages on offer,” he said.
