Visakhapatnam: Attacker expert in cock fighting techniques
The police investigation has revealed that Srinivasa Rao bought the knife to Vizag from a local trader in January.
Visakhapatnam: Janipalli Srinivasa Rao, who attacked YSRC leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday, was found to be an expert in tying knives to fighting roosters in his hometown Mummidivaram, that famous for cockfights.
He along with his father Tata Rao, are well known in the trade and make money during the Sankranti season when cockfights are held. The police investigation has revealed that Srinivasa Rao bought the knife to Vizag from a local trader in January.
Police said they had received the letter written by Srinivasa Rao from CISF personnel. The investigation revealed that Srinivasa Rao sought the help of his cousin J. Vijayalakshmi and his colleague T. Revanthpathi in writing some pages of the letter.
