Hyderabad GES: No bar on IT staff going to work, says M Mahendar Reddy
He said that reports that the police were asking IT companies to dissuade their employees from coming to work are false.
Hyderabad: Undercover cops disguised as labourers, drivers or sales executives will be guarding the routes travelled by delegates, and important places in the city they visit, during the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017.
“There is no specific threat, we are taking all security measures as per the protocols of the Government of India and Special Protection Group,” director-general of police M. Mahendar Reddy said.
He added that 11 senior officials, along with the concerned officials of the respective zones and commissionerates, would take care of the security arrangements.

He said Ms Ivanka Trump will arrive in the city in the early hours of November 28 and leave the next evening from RGI Airport.
