CPI letter to CM N Chandrababu Naidu against Chintamaneni Prabhakar

VIJAYAWADA: Communist Party of India state secretary, K. Ramakrishna alleged that the West Godavari Denduluru MLA Chinthamaneni Prabhakar, was creating panic by threatening the people using his MLA and Whip posts. Mr Ramakrishna wrote a letter to the Chief Minister Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu here on Monday requesting the arrest of the MLA. 

He stated that as many as 27 cases were pending against the MLA and there was a rowdysheet against him in the Three Town police station of Eluru. He alleged that an atrocity case was also pending against him for beating and scolding a Dalit worker, Racheeti John in Eluru. 

Mr Ramakrishna stated in his letter that  the MLA was threatening forest officers and occupying the Kolleru lake for illegal sand mining and had taken  back the lorries which were seized by the vigilance and enforcement officers (V&E), in the illegal mining areas. 

He blamed the MLA for threatening the media who went to the V&E office to learn about the details of the issue. Mr Ramakrishna alleged that the MLA attacked the YSRC and the TD leaders. 

The MLA had also attacked the tahasildar, Vanajakshi, when she inspected and tried to stop the illegal sand mining. Rama Krishna also stated in his letter that CM  Mr Naidu was losing the trust of the public for not taking action against the Denduluru MLA, Prabhakar and demanded his arrest.
