Dengue death: Students demand Rs 25 lakh

Hyderabad: Hundreds of students from University of Hyderabad (UoH) staged a protest at the administration building on Monday.

They alleged medical negligence of the health centre doctors as well as the doctors of Himagiri hospital which resulted in the loss of a young researcher Rashmi Ranjan Suna, who was a first generation student in his family.

The students say that it’s a moral responsibility of the university to provide a compensation to Rashmi’s family of Rs 25,00,000 from University and as well as the hospital. They also demanded legal action against university’s administration and the hospital.
