HC Directs CID Not to Take Stern Action on Naidu, Ravindra in Liquor Scam Case
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has directed the AP CID not to take any stern action against Telugu Desam president Nara Chandrababu Naidu and former excise minister Kollu Ravindra until further orders in the liquor scam case.
A single judge bench of Justice T. Tallapragada heard the petitions filed by Naidu and Ravindra separately seeking anticipatory bail.
Though the court completed its hearings in the case earlier, it adjourned the case on Monday for submission of written arguments.
Accordingly, advocate general Sriram, on behalf of AP CID and advocate Pranathi, submitted their written arguments in the court.
After hearing both the parties, the court issued directions to the CID not to take any stern action against both Naidu and Ravindra until further orders and reserved the verdict.
