Dy CM Kottu Satyanarayana Lays Stone for Rs 215 Cr Projects in Srisailam
Kurnool: Deputy Chief Minister and minister of endowments Kottu Satyanarayana laid foundation stones for several projects of Srisailam Devasthanam at an estimated cost of Rs 215.04 crore on Wednesday.
The projects include construction of a new queue complex, a 200-room pilgrim accommodation complex, Salu Mandapalu, beautification of Sivam Road, accommodations for Sivasevaks, solar power plant, a transformer and substation for the housing complex of Devasthanam employees, concrete road construction from Hemareddy Mallamma Mandir to the dumping yard, a 1,000 KL water storage reservoir, a 500-KL water storage reservoir at Hathakeshwaram, another 500- KL water storage reservoir (Filter Bed Area), Kalyanamandapam construction in Dornala, a shopping complex in Dornala, reconstruction of the North Salumandapalu in Ammavari Temple and construction of fencing for Panchamathas.
Chairman of the board of trustees Reddyvari Chakrapani Reddy, executive officer D. Peddiraju, chief engineer of endowments Susarla Srinivasa Rao, superintendent engineer C. Pullaiah, and Dr Vedantam Rajagopala Chakravarti from the Dharmaprachara Parishad of the endowments department participated in the event.
Earlier, the ceremony, attended by local legislator Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy, commenced with rituals near the Gangadhara Mandapam and the foundation stone-laying event was held.
