Five from Bengaluru die in collision

The truck driver was among those killed.

Dharmapuri (TN): Six people, including five from Bengaluru, were killed and two seriously injured in a collision involving a sports utility vehicle  and a truck on a four-lane state highway near here, police said.

The truck driver was among those killed. The mishap occurred when the SUV, carrying six people from Bengaluru, swerved into the opposite lane after the driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the oncoming truck, District Revenue Officer Shankar said.
