Hyderabad: Inter summer break declared

The colleges should re-open on June 1, the BIE said.

Hyderabad: The Board of Intermediate Education has declared summer holidays from March 29 till May 31. The colleges should re-open on June 1, the BIE said.

Board secretary Dr A. Ashok has directed all private junior colleges not to conduct any special classes or summer classes during the vacation.
Admissions should not be taken up during this period, he added.

The director also warned that violations will be viewed seriously and that strict action will be taken against erring managements. Private managements were making arangements to begin Intermediate second year classes from April 1.
