Kerala High Court orders probe against Vellappally Natesan
Evidence exists against the SNDP Yogam gen secy in case of diverting funds of Kollam SN College, court observed.
KOCHI: The high court has ordered that a probe should be held against SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan for diverting funds of the Kollam SN College. The case should be investigated by an official not below the rank of the SP under the supervision of the DGP, the court said on Tuesday. The court has also directed that the probe should be completed in six months and the report submitted to the court.
The court has observed that prima facie evidence exists against the SNDP Yogam General Secretary in the case. A single bench of the court has also stated that those involved in committing crime should not be allowed to go scot free. The court has issued the order in a petition filed by a person identified as Surendra Babu, a native of Kollam.
