Rejig of Hyderabad police officers

The transfer orders issued by the state government stated that the recent transfer of IGP (personnel) Sandeep Shandilya stands cancelled.

Hyderabad: The state government has on Monday appointed two commissioners of police for the newly-bifurcated Cyberabad Commissionerate — Cyberabad East and West. –

With the present commissioner of police for undivided Cyberabad C.V. Anand proceeding on leave for personal reasons, the government has appointed V. Naveen Chand to Cyber-abad (West) as Commis-sioner and Mr Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat as Commissioner of Cyberabad (East).

The government also transferred six more IPS officials. Greyhounds DIG M. Stephen Raveendra has been transferred and posted as joint commissioner to Cyberabad (West) wile T.V. Sashidhar Reddy was transferred and posted as joint commissioner for Cyberabad (East).

Further, V.V. Srinivasa Rao’s transfer orders issued earlier have been modified as Addl. CP (L&O) to Hyderabad city.
